All LV Bags have smooth and neat sewing thread

All LV Bags have Manufacturer's Print

All LV Bags have a hidden Serial Number with it's manufacturing date and place.

All LV Metals Parts have LV logos, including the stepper, the lock.

The protecting paint on the edge is smooth. Imitation is not smooth.

Monogram Canvas Series Bags has brown lining, Alcantara and leather lining

1. The Epi Leather Series use the same color inside and outside, except the Alcantara which uses Yellow color outside but purple inside

2. Damier Canvas Series uses red color, and the Alcantara is red soil color.

3. Monogram Mat uses fabric inside

All LV dust bags have LV logo, soft and light brown color. It is for product protection before use.

The LV Serial number is not for distinguish real or imitation. The Number is program generated, so as to trace the manufacturing country, destination. The number print on different places of the bags. It could be a good method to see if it is a true LV.

All LV Bags has manufacturing serial Number, representing its manufacturing date and location.

The Serial Number includes 2 alphabets and 4 digits.

ex: FO1013

FO represent its manufacturing location.

1013 is the manufacturing date. 1st and 3rd digit is the month, 2nd and 4th digit is the year. FO1013 stand for made in Spain 2003 Nov.

Different LV series have their serial number printed on different location.

Reference location

1. Inside the belt.

2.Inside the small bag or the ring.

3. On the the label of the bag

4. On the ring at the bag's front.

5. At the right or upper part of the stepper

6. Bottom part of the bag near the suing line.

Louis Vuitton classroom ..... Chapter 4 ~ maintenance of LV bags

For all authentic Louis Vuitton bags, pleas edo a water proof treatment before use. This will enhance the protective layer from dust or geese.

* spay water proof at about 20 cm from the bag.

* after cleaning, please refer to the step above and repeat.

Louis Vuitton classroom ..... Chapter 5 ~ Repairing services by LV shops

The LV shops can repair all LV bags, no purchasing receipt needs to produce.

For example broken stepper, inside layer, missing small bags, belt .. etc.

Repairing service does not includes maintenance or cleaning.

Repairing need about 14 days, or even a month if the bag need to send back to the factory.

Monogram Vernis leather

After used for a period, Monogram Vernis leather may become burg, unpolished, and dirty with static electricity or finger prints.

1. to clean, do not use tissue. Please use leather to avoid hurting the surface.

2. Cleaning spay may keep the brightness and clear from dirt.

EPI

1. To clean, may use Press leather Detergent (foam type)

2. Maintenance : Use Press Leather Detergent may keep the bag soft and beauty.

LV classroom ...Chapter 7. How to keep the Honey Color.

LV bags, after used for some time, may become Honey Color. Due to the weather in Hong Kong, sometimes it became dull brown. So it is advise that we can make it become Honey color by even.

Color .....

Here are some methods....

*** lightest Honey : Wipe the leather with Sheep Oil by hand

*** light Honey : Wipe the leather with Baby Oil by hand

*** Mid Honey Color : Wipe the leather with Baby Oil by suing cotton.

For dark Honey Color, repeat after a few days.

If not to be used for a long time, please store it in a dust proof bag. Remember to put drying tissue inside and replace every few month. Otherwise moisture inside the bag may hurt.

Just personal opinion : Let the Bag appear as natural color after normal use is the best.

If exposed to sunlight for coloring, do not exposed directly to strong sunlight. Also, change the position frequently so as not to hurt the bag.
